Instant Services offers SIA-approved Door Supervisor training, Security Guard training, and CCTV Operator training at our Glasgow training centre in Tradeston. We also offer SIA licence renewal refresher courses (Door Supervisor Refresher and Security Guard Refresher), Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW), and CSCS Green Card training for the construction industry.
Our main SIA training centre is located at 23 Scotland Street, Tradeston, Glasgow, G5 8NB. We are a 3-minute walk from both Shields Road and West Street Subway stations on the Glasgow Subway. Students regularly travel to us from across Scotland including Edinburgh, Paisley, Motherwell, Hamilton, Ayr, Kilmarnock, Stirling, Perth, and Dundee.
The SIA Door Supervisor course takes 6 days to complete. The SIA Security Guard course takes 4 days. The SIA CCTV Operator course takes 3 days. All courses include same-day digital exam results so you know your outcome before you leave our Glasgow training centre.

There are no formal academic qualifications required to start SIA training. However, you must be 18 or over, have the right to work in the UK, and be able to pass a basic literacy and numeracy check as part of the course assessment. A basic criminal record check (DBS) is also required when applying for your SIA licence after the course.

All our courses are fully accredited and recognised by the Security Industry Authority (SIA). Upon passing, your results are submitted directly to the SIA to support your licence application.
Yes. We offer flexible payment options including PayPal Pay in 3, which allows you to split the cost of your SIA training into 3 interest-free monthly instalments at no extra charge. For example, the Door Supervisor course (£395) can be paid as 3 payments of £131.67. Select PayPal at checkout to use this option.
After completing your SIA course at our Glasgow centre, you receive your provisional exam result on the same day. Once your results are confirmed, you apply online to the SIA for your licence. Processing times vary, but typically take 4 to 8 weeks. Instant Services provides guidance and support throughout the application process.
You must bring valid photo ID on the first day of your course (passport or driving licence). You need to bring Group A and Group B documents for your SIA training course; a full list of accepted documents will be provided to you upon booking.
Yes, the CSCS Green Card course is 100% online and self-paced, meaning you can complete it from anywhere in Scotland without travelling to Glasgow. The package includes the Highfield E-Learning course and a remotely invigilated exam.
